With my wall art pieces I seek out more pure art formats. I use flat surfaces to form uninterrupted surfaces of wonderful color and texture, often honoring known painters and styles in new ways. I consider these works "unpainted paintings". Without new paint or brush they confront the viewer with the strength of color and form and add the dimension of true history, patina, and actual depth of surface.
