All wood and paints of this piece are original. A construction based on a panel of crusted, crackled tongue-and-groove wall boards c. 1850 with layers of old paint. A composition doll head c. 1930 is resting on a segment of a wooden pedestal, and a small carved bird perched on a 1920's wooden curtain ring. This work uses age distressed familiar elements to create a little world for the viewer to explore and enjoy.
